The site is simplistic to navigate, guiding you with clear directions. Pictures appear rapidly even on dial-up connection. I appreciate the picture quality and this site and the close-up fabric swatch pictures. This allows me to capture a realistic image of the product I am ordering. The descriptions they provide are usually detailed and most helpful.
The quality of merchandise – whether clothing, jewelry, shoes, or other – has always been top-notch. If you aren’t familiar with Casual Corner or Petite Sophisticate I feel the merchandise is comparable to Nordstrom.
Because the closest store to me is a minimum of 45 minutes away, I really appreciate the availability of this online source. Being petite can have drawbacks, one of those being the availability of pants that don’t require hemming. Most of the local stores carry rather frumpy fashions that I won’t wear. I appreciate the comfort of shopping from home.
An attribute of this site is offered via the recommendations when selecting an article of clothing. For instance when selecting a T-shirt to the right side you might see a jacket, pants, and earrings that complete the outfit. I have found the suggestions to be realistic and helpful.
The one challenge I have with this site is that I become aggravated when attempting to purchase an item that isn’t in stock. Drop down menu isn’t reflective of quantity in stock, rather you are allowed to select the size and color only to be told that it isn’t available (and that it has been removed from your tote – ‘Unfortunately that item is out of stock. We will remove it from your shopping tote for you.’). This wouldn’t be so annoying if it was a simple one-click back to the main list I navigated from. However you select ‘continue’ and then are taken to the item you just attempted to order, from there if you choose to go to the main category you receive the same item out of stock message. Other clothing sites take me to the master list versus reverting to the error message.
Regardless my overall satisfaction is high, orders have always arrived prompt, and as mentioned above the merchandise is high quality. If you are petite and between the sizes of 0 – 14, I highly recommend this merchant.
